Sustainable lime-based micro mortar for floors and walls
The beauty of nature needs no artifice. It is born from the material itself, from its texture, from its controlled imperfection and from the expert hand that knows how to transform it into a unique surface.
This is our line of sustainable lime-based micro mortar: a seamless decorative coating for floors and walls that combines artisan design, mineral aesthetics and a commitment to more conscious architecture. A system created for those seeking finishes with soul, visual depth and a presence that does not follow passing trends.
This two-component lime-based micro mortar celebrates a love of raw materials and artisan processes. Each application reflects the gesture of the applicator, the texture of the chosen grain size and a different way of understanding decorative coatings: more honest, more natural and more connected to the environment.
Available in three grain sizes, it allows you to create living, seamless surfaces full of character. From more rustic, stone-like finishes to fine, silky and elegant textures. Pure beauty on the surface, high performance within.
Thanks to its minimal shrinkage, this lime-based micro mortar helps reduce the risk of cracking and supports long-lasting finishes, even in demanding spaces, both indoors and outdoors.
Why choose our lime-based micro mortar

01. Artisan and material-led aesthetics
The rawness of the material becomes beauty when it passes through the hands of the applicator. Our lime-based micro mortar stands out for its natural, artisan and deeply material-led aesthetic, capable of transforming floors and walls into surfaces with their own identity.
Every finish is different. Every texture speaks of the process. Every surface preserves that perfectly imperfect trace that only an artisan-applied coating can offer.
02. Sustainable product
As manufacturers specialising in sustainable micro mortars and decorative coatings, we develop solutions aligned with more responsible architecture.
This lime-based micro mortar reflects that vision: an environmentally conscious solution designed for projects that seek beauty, durability and material coherence. A product that connects design, technique and sustainability without compromising the performance required by professionals.
03. Suitable for interiors and exteriors
Its versatility makes it suitable for coating a wide variety of spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Walls, floors, façades, terraces, bathrooms and highly decorative areas can all be transformed with the same system.
With the exception of swimming pools, our lime-based micro mortar offers an aesthetic and technical solution for residential, commercial and contract projects where continuity, personality and resistance are key.
04. Minimal shrinkage
At Béton Ciré, we give as much importance to aesthetics as we do to the technical reliability of the product. That is why this lime-based micro mortar has been formulated to offer minimal shrinkage, helping to create more stable seamless finishes and reducing the risk of cracks or fissures appearing.
A solid, resistant solution designed to stand the test of time.

05. Excellent workability
Application is also part of the final result. Our lime-based micro mortar offers excellent workability and allows for different finishing techniques, adapting to the applicator's style and to the decorative effect required.
It can be reworked with ease, allows for precise application and provides enough open time to control the texture properly. A key advantage over other decorative coatings when the goal is to achieve surfaces with artisan character and high aesthetic value.
06. Great aesthetic versatility
The combination of its three grain sizes with a wide colour chart opens up a world of decorative possibilities.
From rustic, stone-like finishes with strong visual impact to softer, more natural and elegant surfaces, our lime-based micro mortar allows architects, interior designers, designers, applicators and end costumers to create unique spaces in line with today's interior and exterior design trends.
Béton Ciré lime-based micro mortar range
Origine: lime-based micro mortar for base coats and finishing coats
With a 0.4 mm aggregate, Origine is the strongest grain size in the Béton Ciré lime-based micro mortar range.
It is formulated as a base coat, although it can also be used as a finishing coat when a more rustic, mineral and expressive finish is required. Its appearance is reminiscent of exposed concrete, with a raw, natural aesthetic that enhances the material’s inherent strength.
Origine is the ideal choice for projects that call for depth, texture and a more pronounced visual presence.

Eternel: lime-based micro mortar for base coats and finishing coats
With a 0.3 mm aggregate, Eternel offers a balanced solution as both a base coat and a finishing coat within the lime-based micro mortar system.
Its stone-like texture, resistance and strong personality make it a highly versatile option for creating seamless surfaces with character, without reaching the more intense rusticity of Origine or the delicate fineness of Nature.
Eternel is the perfect middle ground for those seeking a natural, mineral and elegant finish, with a visible yet refined texture.
Nature: lime-based micro mortar finishing coat
With a 0.2 mm aggregate, Nature is the finest finishing micro mortar in the lime-based range.
Delicate in appearance yet solid within, it makes it possible to create floors and walls with a natural, silky and elegant aesthetic. Its more subtle finish makes it the ideal choice for projects where visual softness, continuity and a more refined mineral feel are desired.
Nature is the perfect grain size for completing surfaces with a clean, serene and sophisticated appearance.

A single system for unlimited finishes
The order of the factors may not change the product, but it certainly changes the result. At Béton Ciré, we have developed three grain sizes within our lime-based micro mortar range. One system for floors and walls, with the choice depending entirely on the aesthetic you want to achieve.
Looking for rustic, stone-like finishes? Complete the application with Origine or Eternel. Prefer a more natural, fine and elegant finish? Use Nature as the final decorative coat.
We provide the material; the applicator brings the artistry needed to make the most of the textures offered by our lime-based micro mortar.

Application guide for lime-based micro mortar
1. Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust or any residues that could compromise the adhesion of the system.
The base must be sound and offer suitable levels of flatness before starting the application of the lime-based micro mortar.

2. Priming
Depending on the type and condition of the substrate, specific technical solutions may be required, such as the use of a flat, flexible fibreglass mesh. For floor applications, its use is strongly recommended.
Next, the most suitable primer should be applied according to the nature of the surface:
- BetonPrim 100 contactofor absorbent surfaces.
- BetonPrim 200 for non-absorbent surfaces.
- BetonPox when it is necessary to apply a barrier against rising damp or vapour.
3. Mixing the lime-based micro mortar
The lime-based micro mortar must be mixed with BetonResin and the corresponding colourants according to the selected colour.
First, pour part of the BetonResin into a container, add the full pigment load required and mix until a homogeneous coloured liquid is obtained.
Then, gradually add the lime-based micro mortar powder and BetonResin while mixing the product with a low-speed mechanical mixer.
Mix for at least 4 minutes, until a homogeneous, uniform and lump-free mixture is achieved.

4. Application of the lime-based micro mortar
a) Base coats
Apply 2 coats of Origine or Eternel using a metal trowel. Allow 4 hours drying time between coats and lightly sand with 40-grit sandpaper to remove imperfections, marks or ridges.
b) Finishing coats
For a rustic finish, apply a third coat of Origine or Eternel and sand with 40-grit sandpaper.
For a more natural, fine and elegant finish, apply 2 coats of Nature. Allow 4 hours drying time between coats and lightly sand with 80-grit sandpaper to remove minor imperfections.
c) Fresh-on-fresh technique
Our lime-based micro mortar can also be worked using the decorative fresh-on-fresh technique, applying the next coat as soon as the previous one loses its tack, meaning it no longer sticks to the fingers when touched.
In this case, the first coat should not be sanded. If any ridges or small lumps appear, they should be removed with a support spatula, knocking down any material that protrudes.
5. Sealing
Once the curing process is complete, which usually takes place between 24 and 48 hours after application, the lime-based micro mortar must be sealed to properly protect the finish.
We recommend applying:
- 2 coats of BetonSeal Primaire, allowing 4 hours drying time between coats.
- Then, 2 coats of BetonSeal Finition Total,, 2 coats of BetonSeal Finition Total, allowing 18 to 36 hours drying time between coats.
