Two-component microcement with eco-friendly cement
Some materials simply cover surfaces. Others transform them with confidence.
Our two-component microcement with eco-friendly cement was created to design seamless floors and walls with a mineral, sober and resistant aesthetic. A system that preserves the technical essence of traditional two-component microcement, while evolving its formulation with eco-friendly cement to offer a more sustainable alternative.
It is not just about decorating or achieving a correct finish. It is about creating surfaces with presence, continuity and high performance. Surfaces capable of keeping pace with a home, a commercial space or a contract project without losing character or durability over time.
Formulated with eco-friendly cement and resin, Béton Ciré two-component microcement offers great hardness and high mechanical resistance to daily use. Its anti-slip texture also makes it a particularly interesting solution for indoor and outdoor floors, where aesthetics must work hand in hand with functionality.
It is a highly versatile decorative coating that can be applied on floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, staircases, worktops, terraces, façades and other spaces where a durable, resistant and visually clean finish is required.
The result is a surface with no visible joints, a mineral finish and a distinctly contemporary architectural look. From soft, elegant textures to more stone-like and defined finishes, the system can be adapted to each project without compromising on resistance, sustainability or design.
Because when matter is formulated with intention, the result never goes out of style.
A cement-based two-component microcement designed for professionals seeking resistance, reliability and sustainability in one single product line.
What makes our eco-friendly cement-based two-component microcement different
01. Confidence built on site
Our two-component microcement with eco-friendly cement provides confidence from the mixing stage through to the final finish. Its stable application, consistent results and the peace of mind it brings to projects where there is no room for improvisation make it a recurring choice for professionals.
Those who work with it quickly understand its value. A solution designed to be used again and again. Because when a product performs, confidence stops being a promise and becomes experience.
02. The sustainable evolution of cement-based two-component microcement
For years, traditional cement-based two-component microcement has been a benchmark solution for creating high-resistance seamless coatings. At Béton Ciré, we have evolved this system by incorporating eco-friendly cement into the formulation.
This decision allows us to offer a more sustainable alternative without compromising the performance professionals demand.

03. High mechanical resistance
The combination of eco-friendly cement and acrylic resin gives our two-component microcement high mechanical resistance, designed to perform efficiently on surfaces exposed to intensive use, foot traffic and technical demands.
A key performance benefit for pavements, staircases, commercial spaces and contract projects, where the coating must maintain stability, hardness and presence over time.
04. Anti-slip properties for safer pavements
Our eco-friendly cement-based two-component microcement makes it possible to create seamless pavements with an anti-slip texture, a highly valuable quality in indoor and outdoor spaces where safety, resistance and design must move in the same direction.
It is especially suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, staircases, terraces, ramps, porches and passage areas, where the coating must provide a safer step without giving up a clean, contemporary mineral aesthetic.
05. The right technical solution for every surface
Indoor and outdoor spaces do not have the same requirements. Nor do a decorative wall, a kitchen pavement or a terrace exposed to sun, rain and other external agents. That is why this range of two-component microcement with eco-friendly cement is organised into specific solutions according to the type of surface, the level of demand and the finish you want to achieve.
Every application starts with a technical decision: choosing the right product, grain size and system for the real use of the surface. Because it is not about applying the same coating in every space, but about building a precise solution to achieve a resistant, coherent and durable result.
06. Great aesthetic versatility
The final aesthetic does not depend on colour alone. It also comes from the grain size, the texture, the application technique and the intention behind the project. This line of two-component microcement allows you to create very different finishes within the same mineral language: from soft, clean and elegant surfaces to more stone-like, rustic and defined textures.
An aesthetic versatility designed to adapt to minimalist, Mediterranean, industrial or contemporary projects without losing resistance, coherence or decorative presence.

Application guide for two-component microcement with eco-friendly cement
1. Substrate preparation
Before applying the system, the substrate must have good cohesion, stability and flatness, correcting any irregularities that could affect the final finish.
The surface must also be free from moisture, grease, dust, construction residues, poorly adhered paint or any other residue that could compromise the adhesion of the coating.

2. Priming and prior reinforcement
The choice of primer will depend on the nature of the substrate and the condition of the surface. In certain cases, especially on pavements, it may be advisable to reinforce the system with a flat, flexible fibreglass mesh.
Depending on the type of substrate, use:
- BetonPrim 100 on absorbent surfaces.
- BetonPrim 200 on non-absorbent surfaces.
- BetonPox when a barrier against rising damp or vapour moisture is required.
3. Preparing the mixture
The eco-friendly cement-based two-component microcement is prepared by combining the powder with BetonResin resin and the colourants corresponding to the chosen shade.
To begin the mixture, pour part of BetonResin into a clean container and add the full pigment load. This first mixture should be worked until a uniform colour is obtained.
Next, gradually add the microcement powder together with the remaining BetonResin, using a low-speed mechanical mixer.
Mix for at least 4 minutes, until a homogeneous, even and lump-free paste is obtained.

4. Applying the cement-based two-component microcement
a) Preparation coats
Apply 1 or 2 coats of BetonBase XXL, XL or L with a metal trowel.
Allow 4 hours of drying time between coats. Then carry out a light sanding with 40-grit sandpaper to correct small marks, burrs or imperfections before continuing.
b) Finishing coats
The finishing product is selected according to the use of the surface and the final texture desired:
- For a rustic finish, apply a third coat of BetonBase XXL or XL and sand with 40-grit sandpaper.
- On interior pavements, apply 2 coats of BetonSol with 4 hours between coats, and sand with 80-grit sandpaper.
- On interior walls and non-trafficable surfaces, apply 2 coats of BetonMur with 4 hours between coats, and sand with 220-grit sandpaper.
- For outdoor applications or anti-slip finishes, apply 2 coats of BetonNex with 4 hours of drying time between coats, and sand with 40-grit sandpaper.
c) Wet-on-wet application
The wet-on-wet technique can also be used. In this case, the next coat is applied when the previous one has lost its tack, meaning it no longer sticks to the fingers when touched.
With this technique, the first coat must not be sanded. If burrs or small raised areas appear, they should be removed with the support spatula, cutting away the excess material before continuing.
5. Final protection
After completing the application, the coating requires a curing period, which usually takes place within the following 24 to 48 hours. Once this point has been reached, the sealing system must be applied to protect the surface and preserve the finish.
The recommended sealing system is:
- 2 coats of BetonSeal Primaire, with 4 hours of drying time between coats.
- Then, 2 coats of BetonSeal Finition Total, leaving between 18 and 36 hours of drying time between coats.
